Phase III Demolition Has Begun!

We’re Under Construction!!!

After years of planning and fundraising, construction for the new Family Ministries Center (FMC) has begun! The oldest buildings on our campus served as the original church sanctuary and ministry classrooms. Since then, larger buildings have housed the Sunday congregations while the chapel and Fellowship Hall buildings have been used for smaller events and church ministries.

The demolition is currently underway, the structures have been removed and the foundation will be removed next. “The Big Dig” will officially begin in early 2021 to prepare the site for the basement level and foundation work.

Plans for the new FMC include a chapel, school library, and a gymnasium! Church and school members alike will enjoy the multi-purpose rooms for additional meeting space, a large kitchen to  prepare large events and serve student lunches, and student ministries will have an area to gather on Sundays and throughout the week. The Academy will greatly benefit from the larger chapel where band rehearsals and chapels will be held, and a new school library/Family Care room for all day use. The gym will host recesses throughout the school day alongside PE classes, and junior high sporting events after school. There’s so many more incredible features going into the building – we encourage you to check back as the project continues.
