We have something exciting to share with our NorthCreek family, a new website! Our old website was outdated so it was time for an upgrade. Our old website was flat, boring, and didn’t adjust to the screen size it was viewed on. Websites that adjust to the screen size is what’s called a responsive website. Our new website is just that, responsive! Many of our prospective families are looking into us on their phones so we needed a website that will adjust to the smaller screen size and is easier to navigate.
Along with a responsive design, we’ve gathered information across multiple pages from the old website and combined it to single scrolling pages. Our subpages now have 3+ sections of information so that visitors can view more information with less clicks. We narrowed our website down to 6 pages from the 30+ we had on the old website.
We also wanted to add features that would bring our website to life – a blog, news, and story section, a live Instagram feed, and a calendar our school families can subscribe to. The story section will highlight testimonials from our school parents, staff and alumni. These stories are on display on the home page of the website and will also be used for other promotional materials. It’s a way that we can bring testimonials to life by having a face with a story through pictures or videos. We’re really excited to add stories to our library and have many meaningful testimonials to read over the years.
We’ll provide exciting news articles and share insightful blog posts ranging from professional development to biblical encouragement from our teachers and staff. These posts can be shared to Facebook or other social media platforms.
