It’s Auction Season!
We are gearing up for our biggest fundraiser of the year on Saturday, April 25. There are many ways you as a NorthCreek family can be a part of our auction. As our largest fundraiser each year, we’ve raised $638,435 over the last 4 years which contributes to our Phase III project – a new building that will include a gym, library and chapel. We are excited for our theme this year, Raise ‘Em Up, Let’s Build It Together! because we really do believe that through God’s provisions we’ll be able to raise the walls beginning this summer!
So, how can you participate?
To start, we’d love for you to COME to the GALA EVENT on Saturday, April 25, at 5:30PM. You won’t want to miss out on all the fun. The courtyard will be transformed to another time and place – think farm, barn, cowboy hats! We offer a wide variety of silent auction items, games, and a fabulous live auction opportunity complete with professional auctioneer. You’ll enjoy a delicious dinner from Back Forty BBQ. All guests receive an auction catalog with a bidder number a few days before the event so you can preview items available ahead of time. We hold an ONLINE AUCTION Monday, April 20 through Thursday, April 23, and all are invited to participate! Items include gift cards, service certificates, lessons, parties, and our popular Time with Teacher – a chance for students to spend quality time with their teachers outside of the classroom. Look for a special blog post titled Online Auction 101 in April with more instructions and tips on how to bid online.
Of course, we can’t have an auction without DONATIONS. Our auction team has been working hard to procure donations from local businesses and large corporations such as sport teams and amusement parks. However, we’d love your participation as well! Do you have a vacation home to rent out for a week or weekend? Do you have a cool job that you can show to others on a tour? Do you have a personal connection with someone who can donate sports tickets? You can even purchase gift cards or items to donate as a package. Don’t have anything tangible to give but want to donate? We also accept cash donations or underwriting donations which is money given to purchase an item to sell.
