NorthCreek Preschool offers extraordinary opportunities for educational, social and physical growth. Opportunities are provided for being with other children in a setting conducive to the development of wholesome relationships and a respect for others. Learning activities are designed to develop kindergarten readiness while remembering that children learn best through active involvement in age-appropriate experiences.
Since 1970, NorthCreek Preschool has been known as a nurturing home-away-from-home for both children and parents, the warm place many little ones first learn to love school, love their teachers and friends, and, most importantly, love God.
Though preschool programming has been suspended for the 20-21 school year, we look forward to again welcoming children to our cozy classrooms – up close and personal, laughing, learning, and growing together with friends and teachers – the NorthCreek Preschool way for nearly 50 years! In anticipation of preschool’s return, we invite you to learn more about our 3s and Pre-K programs.
NorthCreek Academy’s new Transitional Kindergarten class is specifically designed for children who will benefit from a two-year kindergarten program.
When our doors re-open, enrollment will be open to all preschool children of the community. The minimum age for our licensed preschool is three years by October 31st. Each child must be toilet trained. Admission is made without regard to race, color, religion, or national origin. Each child admitted must be determined to be ready for the type of group experience that the school offers. Children with special needs are considered individually.
NorthCreek Academy offers extraordinary opportunities for achievement in academics, the fine arts, athletics, as well as personal and spiritual growth. Students are encouraged to pursue personal interests and develop their own unique leadership abilities through many extra-curricular programs and chapels. The uniqueness of the individual is respected as we partner with each family to develop well-rounded students and encourage each child to develop their God-given gifts and talents to their fullest.
Visitor Days are a great way for prospective families to see us in action. They allow prospective families to take a closer look at NorthCreek Academy. Led by our Student Council members, these days are a unique opportunity to see what an actual day in the classroom is like. NorthCreek Academy holds three-to-four Visitor Days per year. The Kindergarten Visitor Day is offered additionally for those looking at our kindergarten program. Unfortunately, there are no remaining Academy Visitor Days for this school year, but prospective parents are encouraged to schedule a tour of our school.
To schedule a tour, call our registrar, Ranetta Ericks, at 925.627.4435.
Thank you for your interest in NorthCreek Academy and Preschool. We have many opportunities throughout the school year for prospective parents to visit our school. More dates will be posted here as soon as possible.
The school is funded by means of tuition as well as the gifts and volunteer services of its parents. Educational services are provided for the student on the basis of an annual tuition.
